Anybody know what the reason havocs don't get plasma cannons or multi meltas? I mean obviously not in the codex, but why?!?!? Makes me feel like that fact alone makes them 1000x worse than normal devastators...

They do get autocannons when loyalists do not

Unfortunately all Legion plasma cannons, multi-meltas, land speeders, drop pods, and graviton weapons were lost in the great Maelstrom pub crawl of 687.M32.

No one talks about it because it was really embarrassing.

I think fluff wise, they just don't have those guns handy. Rules wise, you have the option of Autocannons which is pretty nice, and you can take special weapons allowing for some mobile support squads.

I think they are not a whole lot worse off than Devastators!

autocannons are better then plasma and multi melta

Iron warrior havocs get tank hunter which is good for autocannons.
