I want to buy a Rhino for my Battle Sisters squad. GW sell a Sororitas Rhino for £22.50. Their website says "Please note: the transfers on the model pictured are not included with this kit.". Does this mean that a Sororitas Rhino is exactly the same as an Space Marine Rhino? Does it come in a separate box?
If I get the Dark Angels Gauntlet Tactical Squad, which contains "a ten-man Space Marines Tactical Squad, a Rhino, and a Dark Angels Upgrade Pack" will that contain an identical Rhino to the Sororitas Rhino box? If it does, I'd rather get that, as effectively for an extra £10 I'd be getting ten Dark Angels which I can add to my Dark Vengeance pack. It's a great value box.

Yeah, if the transfers are not included, it's the exact same Rhino. Don't know about different packaging, but I highly doubt it. There is however a Chaos Rhino, which includes a different upgrade sprue from the Imperium Rhino.
There is also a Deathwatch Transport kit, which is a Razorback with an extra Deathwatch sprue for an extra of 2,5 GBP! Sell the Deathwatch sprue and magnetize to convert your Rhino to a Razorback if need be.

GW's subsidiary resin company, Forgeworld also sell some nice rhinos.
Another popular option, apparently, is to buy the razorback kit as it essentially contains a full rhino plus spares.

Every kit that is based on a rhino chassis can be built as a rhino. The Razor is a popular one because it’s only a few bucks more then a Rhino, and by simply by not glueing the top hatch on, you can freely swap between them. It’s a minor investment for a ton of flexibility in your collection. Some of the more expensive kits, like the predator, are harder to swap between easily (although still possible) and more of an investment.

For Sisters, you probably want the immolator.

Thanks all. I started this thread to clarify my purchasing decision and you've give me more options which has left me more confused I think I'll just get the DA Gauntlet Tactical Squad as money is tight.

If you are ever buying anything on an a Rhino chassis buy the chaos version so it gives you bits for the bitz box As people have mentioned above look at getting the Imitator or the Exorcist rather than the rhino as they both sit on a rhino frame.

Wooah there, are you saying the Chaos Rhino is just a normal Space Marines Rhino on the sprue plus bits? That means I could get the Chaos Desolator Squad which would give me a rhino for my Battle Sisters and ten Chaos Space Marines to add to my Dark Vengeance set. That would be awesome. But I assume you don't get the, er, not sure what it's called, the crest with a skull and wings that goes on the front of a Space Marines and a Battle Sisters Rhino?

All of the variants of the rhino are based on the same basic tank.
A chaos rhino is going to be the rhino sprues + a spiky bit sprue
A razorback is going to be the rhino sprues + the razorback turret sprue

The only thing that will be different is the vehicle accessory sprue and what transfers are in the box. But the core rhino is the same. That said, things like the searchlight, smoke launchers, and hatches are on the accessory sprue, so if you go chaos, you might get different flavored bits there.

Also note that the weapons are on the accessory sprue, so the Chaos one will have a twin-linked bolter, not a storm bolter and a different rocket launcher.

If you can, spend the couple extra bucks and get the Immolator. You get a Sisters spure with the basic rhino, which has a nice set of Fur de lue for the doors and top, a new Sisters top plate, Imperial bits and bobs, and an Immolator turret. Everything a growing army needs =)

Pread I easy to swap with a rhino..
Even blue tack will do for sides, and the top hatch not glue.
The top hatch can also be fitted with a razor turret if you have spare.

It can be all 3 if you have spare turret mounts.

In theory you could get a spare missile system and make it a artillary tank too.

Thanks again all. I am tempted by an Immolator mainly because it looks so cool.
One final question. In the photos Battle Sisters' vehicles are painted a very dark grey. This looks much darker than Eshin Grey, but I don't think Citadel do a darker grey do they? I have a pot of Tamiya dark grey which looks about right, or I could mix some black in with Eshin Grey. Is that what people do? Or is it just Eshin Grey and I'm a bit blind?
