I am new to all of this and have been enjoying slowly painting different models, but my wife is harping on me to learn how to play the game. I am just looking for someone to help show me the ropes and teach me the basics of playing. Anything would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

My group doesn't really play 40K anymore. What armies do you play? We've been pretty heavy into 30K.

We typically meet at Frontline, though if you're deadset on 40K, Rick's will probably be a better venue for you.
