Hello, so as i have lot of Nurgle Models at home and i really like Daemonprinces i wanted to make a Nurgle Flying Circus.

I only can use the models i have, here you got a list if you want to help me^^.

- 8 Daemonprinces
- 2 GUO s
- 60 Plaguebearers
- 9 Nurglings
- 9 Plaguedrones
- 3 Beasts of Nurgle
- 2 Nurgle Heralds


I often play against local tournament players and my friends often use hard lists. I know mono Armies are not as good as mixed but i really want to make it work and also keep the Nurgle Theme, so hope you guys can help me=).

So i made two armylists and wanted to know what you think of them and how i could make them more competitive (but sticking to my nurgle Flying Circus Theme, so no other gods).

My first list is an incursion with 4 DPs

Tallyband
3x3 Nurglings
4x10 Plaguebearers
1 Herald (naked, i know sucks but no points left)
Aux
5 Furies
Daemon Command
Nurgle Prince with Wings, 2 Greater Rewards, ML 3
Nurgle Prince with Wings, 2 Greater Rewards, ML 3
Nurgle Prince with Wings, 2 Greater Rewards, ML 3
Nurgle Prince with Wings, 2 Greater Rewards, ML 2, Grotti

Have a lot of Bodies, one or two Princes can go for Summoning and summon more Models. Also the +1 to Warpstorm is nice and i don't have to fear really bad results. Also i don't have to take the GUO, as i find he is a Tax and doesn't do a lot in games.

Next list is a CAD with CSM allies

Daemon CAD
GUO
Belakor (only cause he has no mark and is really good^^)
2x3 Nurglings
3 Nurgle Princes, Wings, 2 Greater Rewards, ML 2

Allied CSM (Word Bearers)
Nurgle Prince, Wings, ML 3, Spellfamiliar, Gift of mutation (only cause i had 10 points left)
10 Cultists

So 6 MCs and 5 of them are flying, the Princes can go on Malefic or Biomancy or Telepathy for the Scream as i already have Belakor for the Invis power. The CSM Prince can summon on 3+ as he is form an Wordbearer Detachment. Only things that sucks are that i have the naked GUO and that i don't have a mitigation for the Warpstorm.


So that's it guys, hope you can help me to make my army as competitive as possible.

Can you turn 1 plague bearers into a 4th nurglings? Nets you enough points up the mastey of the final prince or do something with the herald.

The FNP loci on the herald is sweet if you keep all the bearers close. Probably worth considering.

Sure i only have to buy 3 Nurglings or proxy them somehow at the moment ^^.

Yeah the loci on the herald woulb be really good, so they don't die so easy.

Which list du you find better and why?=) (i assume it was the incursion list^^).

Daemon Command is only 0-3 (i know, some say 0-4 its a typo)

Okay sure? In my book is 0-4 (english version).

My english version says 0-3. It's weird

I would try to get the malefic tomb on the Word Bearer prince so that he has 3 malefic powers to generate

Looked again at my book and it is a german version
My mistake XD.

Okay but which things should i cut to get it into the list or do you mean for the incursion list (as there is now 1 dp less).

Any other advices?
