So recently I have started a Thousand Sons army. One of the first models I bought was the new Ahriman model, during assembly the disc of tzeentch broke. Not only this but I noticed that the Exalted Sorcerer box only includes 1 disc of tzeentch, so I need 3. Discs are selling on ebay for arond $15 a piece at limited supply, which I just don't feel like getting. I was thinking of just putting them on really tall cork bases, is that a good idea? if not does anyone know of a good alternative?

Hm, screamers of Tzeentch look good as a 'Disc of Tzeentch'-proxy. The cheepest way is to convert a 28mm / 32mm Base into a disc - adding Greenstuff & horns etc.

I did just that, back in ye olden days when there weren't any discs available except on expensive characters.


Just glue 2 bases to each other, add bits to taste, and glue it on a flight stand and you're golden, or look for these specific smoke stands from Bolt Action airplanes.

The AoS Tzaangors Enlightened kit comes with 3 discs $35 GW price, so less elsewhere, and with some conversion, the models can serve you as Sorcerers or just Tzaangors, as well

Wow. This was the best thing I could have seen. I had no idea these came out! 3 discs of tzeentch AND 3 awesome models? Strange how these are $35 and the exalted sorcerer box is $50. Thanks a bunch to everyone for their comments!
