Grim Dark Angels Interrogator-Chaplain

A Protoss colony world

Here is yet another idea of something to ally with my Dark Angels. This time, I'm thinking about Space Wolves, specifically Thunderwolf Cavalry. I have little or no experience with Space Wolves (although I do have the Start Collecting box for them), so I'm hoping someone on here can give me advice for the best way to kit them out. I may also start a thread over in the Tactics section about this. Anyway, here's my proposed list:
Detachment 1: Ravenwing Strike Force
Interrogator-Chaplain: Bike, Mace of Redemption
Librarian: ML2, Bike
Librarian: ML2, Bike
Ravenwing Command Squad: 6 bikers, Apothecary, Champion, RW banner, 1x Grenade Launcher
Ravenwing Attack Bike Squad: 1 bike, Multimelta
Ravenwing Darkshroud
Ravenwing Bike Squad: 4 bikes, 2x Gravgun, Melta Bombs
Ravenwing Bike Squad: 3 bikes, 2x Gravgun, Melta Bombs
Ravenwing Land Speeders: 1 Speeder, Typhoon Missile Launcher
Ravenwing Land Speeders: 1 Speeder, Typhoon Missile Launcher
Detachment 2: Formation Detachment: Space Wolves Deathpack
Wolf Lord: Thunderwolf, Power Fist, Storm Shield, Armor of Russ
Grey Hunters: 5 men, Plasmagun
Thunderwolf Cavalry: 5 models, 2x Bolt Pistol/Storm Shield, 2x Dual Wolf Claws, Leader with Power Fist and Storm Shield
This list basically runs two big scary units up the field to wreck stuff. The DA characters all join the Command Squad to form a mini-deathstar, with one libby rolling on Telepathy and the other rolling on either Interromancy or Librarius. Alternatively I could run one of the Libbys with the 4-man bike squad and take Divination powers to improve the grav fire. Thanks to the formation, the TWC can run and charge potentially on the first turn. The Grey Hunters are a tax, and only get a plasmagun to make them able to maybe hurt something in my own backfield.

My main questions pertaining to the Wolves:
1: Is the loadout I listed any good? The only other thing I considered was to take pistols and shields on all of them except the champion. Should they in fact all get shields?
2: For the Wolf Lord, is the Armor of Russ worthwhile in this list? Would it be better if I also took a Wolf Claw instead of a shield?
3: Is the Deathpack formation bonus better than running these models as an Allied detachment? Running and charging with a blob of Thundercav seems really good, especially compared to ObSec on one unit of Grey Hunters.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

1: the loadout is ok in general, but suggest consider give them all storm shield, plus just one guy having a Thurnder Hammer / powerfist. I use them bascially as multiple T5 2W meat shields with 3++ against anything AP2, for anything AP3, tank by the Wolf Lord. When in combat at I4 step, rely on S5 and hope for the rending and I believe you can have some cause you will have 16 attacks on the first round, and 12 attacks in subsequent rounds, so there will likely be 1 or 2 sixes come out.
2. For the Wolf Lord, Armor of Russ is good, and with it, you can consider switch out the SS for Wolf Claw, unless you fight against invisible / 2++ rerollable character with Instant Death weapon, you are likely to come out on top with -5I to enemy and 7 attacks with S6 AP3 shred at I5 or unwieldy S10 AP2.
3. The Deathpack is good, with only 5 model greyhunters, they will not last long sit on that objective. I might even not consider give them speical weapon if they are just tax in the Wolves detachment and have no transports, save that 15 pts and squish a few points elsewhere, and maybe consider changing one of your Ravenwing biker into a unit of Black Knight. Plasma weaponary is better used with them.
