Now most factions i can figure dark eldar can handle even if it's hard. With melee armies we can use raiders to block them in a corner after we spam all our shots on them. We can deploy and move all to one side and destroy an army with short ranged, mid-ranged and melee attacks by fighting 25% of their army at a time with 100% of ours. Against durable armies (necrons and admech) we have poisoned shots and melee which tends to work (i got insanely close to winning vs necron wraith decurion with tomb spiders). Even guard isn't so bad though the wyverns could take out our bikes and without them taking out all their tanks behind cover with camo netting is a bit hard.

However tau is the enemy i just can't handle. They shoot you no matter what you do. If you don't have dark lances and dissies en masse they get at least 1-2 shooting phases with stormsurge and riptides before you even get to make a real dent in their army. Even if you spam melee units like incubi, grotesques and reavers and/or trueborn (take 2 FOC if possible) it still probably isn't enough. It's a rather rough match-up esp. considering even out of line of sight they can still hit you with smart missiles like vs your reavers. Smart missiles are basically the bane of reavers.

I've never had the misfortune to face eldar yet at my local GW in michigan but it sounds like a tough fight. I could almost bet it's not as hard as facing tau as dark eldar but it sounds like it could be an uphill battle regardless. I have heard of bikes with invisible cast on them but i dunno if it's been FAQ'd out of effectiveness.

really for tau, you need to rely on the alpha strike, destroy their marker lights turn one, once they're gone then its some pretty inaccurate shooting.

If you go first, then its simple enough, if you go second deploy anything outside LoS that can alpha strike, and throw everything else in reserves.

IG I can't offer any advice as I've never fought them, but really kill everything with an AV value and ignore the rest, or MSU to hell and spread your force out, wyverns can only kill a thing a turn eh?

Extreme MSU, knock out markerlights, preferably with venoms

Lots of MSU, corpsethief claw. Kill the markerlights sources first, as other users already suggested.

When you face an alien race still in it's infancy, you call upon the covens to harvest their bodies. Get them into combat. Riptide is mediocre in close combat and dies to instant death.

Drive closer! I want to hit them with my sword!

With the realspace raiders detachment you can spam reavers as needed.
As said, just spam them and go for alpha strikes.

Once you can get into combat your a lot safer so try not to wipe out a unit in your own turn.

Prioritise marker light units.
Your going to be relying on cover and jink a whole lot.
You don't want tau throwing ignores cover shooting everywhere.
