What do you think about this Blackamnes list? It combines my favorite hard hitting assault units with a ton of other units to snag objectives and clog the battlefield. It’s 11 drop pods with 55 power armored Space Wolves, 5 scouts with 4+ saves, and an obligatory unit of thunderwolves with battle leader as well as a murderpack. Because they’re blackmanes, all 11 pods come in on turn one. Models that disembark from pods have fearless and 6+ fnp on the turn they disembark. Long fangs can start in cover, or drop in and snap shot. Their pods are free so those will drop in. Either way, it’s 8 lascannons. Overall there are 3 flamers, 5 meltaguns, and 2 plasmaguns all in separate units. Plus, 60 attacks between thunderwolves and wulfen.

I'd take a leader in both units of wulfen, especially in the blackmane formation where there are not many units on the field turn 1, and if you go second you can suffer some casualties and having +1 to your leadership check is handy. Also a leader guarantees that at least a model always strikes at I4 in close combat.

Only one unit of long fang should be mandatory in the formation so I'd take just one, saving points for other units.
