Subject: [1,850] - T'au Empire - Farsight Enclaves - Vs SM and/or Thousand Sons
I'm going to be playing a friendly campaign with my friends, one of which plays Space Marines, and the other plays Thousand Sons. So I've created my army list so that I can have it criticized and complimented by you all. I play Farsight Encalves so I'm taking a Dawnblade Contingent (FE version of the Decurion). As a result, everything has to have BKR because it's a Farsight Enclaves army.

I'm thinking of sticking the Commander with either the Riptide or the larger Crisis Suit squad. Also, i'll have the RC deploy using Low Altitude Deployment for auto arrival on turn 2, and have the Auxiliary formations start on the board. The main problem is I'm not sure how useful the Interceptor fire will be with the Broadsides, Riptide and Drones (the SM player is bringing a Skyhammer xD). So, is it all alright? Any feedback is nice, thank you.

Couple of changes id make, dont know what models you have.
The commander isnt really benefiting the small crisis squad, he has weapons which he cant shoot and he cant join the riptide due to been a monsterous creature. Id take the buff stuff off, keep the puretide and join him with some tanking gear to a 3 man broadside squad with target locks, add some missile drones to deep strike easier and on top of that there bs4 when they come down. Give him missile pods too for even more tank/mc killing.
Riptide looks fine, maybe add stims instead of skyfire due to him having the ion.
Crisis suits id have 2 single suits with fusions and maybe one squad with 2-3 plasma suits in. I wouldnt mix weapons and it gives you some good ap2 wherever you need on the field.
The drone net is fantastic keep that as your aux choice and the intercept will help with the next choice.
I do like the idea of devilfish but put simply there too overcosted for what they do and provide no intercept or staying power against the skyhammer.
Now id either take a CAD with a fireblade, some kroot/fire warriors for screening and a stormsurge with pulse driver for intercept or a optimised stealth cadre with 3 keels for staying power (especially if they go first).
Points wise you should be able to fit this in, i find when i play retaliation cadre, you need to survive 1/2 turns before you can start clearing up and taking objectives.

I have one thing to add; consider dumping the DBC for a CAD. It can be just as fluffy, but more effective. Simply put, ObSec wins games. In a semi-competitive environment, I love running tons of Breachers in fish. It's fun; and deadly. The Breachers don't need to survive their volley because the fish is such a resilient, mobile ObSec platform. Not to mention, your Crisis suits in a CAD would have ObSec as well. That can be intensely annoying for an opponent to have you JSJ'ing behind terrain in his backfield near an objective to contest or conquer. My .02
