I think we need a "bag of Rheumatoids Questions!" thread. You have like 8 threads in the top 10! Could we consolidate some of it?

I think you would have to be pretty crafty to make this happen.
The old Tank Rider models are pretty neat, and the guard leg pieces just arent meant to be seated.

Heavy wepaon legs that are kneeling behind a turret?
Make them seem to grip onto somthibf.
Best I can think off without cutting and having to do tons of rescuplting.

Victoria Models have 2 sets of sitting legs. You can model your torsoes to them and place them sitting on the edge of a tank:
http://victoriaminiatures.highwire.com/product/conscript-legs-seated-x2
http://victoriaminiatures.highwire.com/product/kilt-legs-sitting-x2-1
Alternatively you can learn how to work with green stuff and re model the legs you currently have. The learning curve is a bit hard thou.
Or use the spread legs of existing cavalry GW sets.

Anvil Industry also has seated legs in their heavy weapon leg sets.

Thanking you my good sir!
I am aware of victoria minis but i never knew that they had sitting legs that i could use to get started.
My green stuff is en route via the mail so I'm going to try and play around with some green stuff and see how I get on
Cheers again

The only trick that I can think of would be too cut the legs off at the groin and roughly half the knee then pin the lower leg and the torso back together in a sitting position. The bit that you cut out (thigh) shouldn't be all that difficult to re sculpt as its going to be a slightly tri oval shape, with a bit of a 'wave' to simulate a cloth. Then a couple of smallish cuts to get the toes of the boots drooping to the ground.

Thanks dude, Im going to my hobby store today to grab some bits and pieces.
I Will try out your method and see how I get on, Been away from the hobby for years so I'm probably going to suck at trying to sculpt anything and everything but I'll give it a good go!
