Hey guys looking for some feedback on this sculpt, its not even a day old but I went ahead and printed it and gave it a quick paintjob.

Its 72mm tall on a 60mm base for reference. Im not a fan of the way I cut it in Netfabb, the gaps are pretty noticeable on the torso so I know I have to change that around, I didnt
bother trying to cover them up. I also want to bend the left arm more and maybe get some raised runes. Thoughts?

What a creepy and haunting miniature! I really like the texture of the burned away flesh, and the almost feature-less face is truly horrific (in a good way!).

My only problem with the model are the high heels. I like that you made them an organic part of the creature, but at the end of the day it's a demon in high heels. Why? The heels just ruin the otherwise very disturbing theme of the figure and pushes it into pin-up territory (just my opinion, and opinions are like donkey-caves so not looking to change your mind on the design).

But other than the heels this is a very cool model. Raised runes on the skin would be neat looking and give painters less comfortable with freehand some nice details to pick out on the flesh.

That's an incredibly sinister looking model. Great job!

I agree about the heels though. Maybe there's a simple alteration to make them look less heel-like but retain the pose

The "heel" bone kinda looks like an elongated thumb, I wonder if the heels could be turned into hands and still keep the pose?

Hey thanks for the quick feedback, all.

Basically I wanted to be able to raise and elongate her legs, so heels do kind of fit the bill. But Maybe that can be tweaked some and still keep the same effect.

Sat down with her for a few hours tonight, did some form adjustments and added some details that I felt a Princess needed. Altered the face a lot to give it more expression.

Still has the heels...but they are a good place holder until I figure things out.

Well Im 'sensitive' to the plight of oversexualized female models in the wargaming community, so I do get where they are coming from. But being that its a demon, the whole succubus/carnal form thing comes in to design play as well.

Love it, perhaps look into giving her cloven hooves and beastman like legs (without the fur) if the heels bug you? I didnt at first notice the tail was a tail from the painted mini pics alone.

A ton of armies and a terrain habit...

I think that's a fantastic design, it's in that 'just human enough to be really unsettling' type of imagery and that's brilliant. Fantastic work on the skin textures too, I think some raised runes would be a nice touch but the surface as a whole looks great.

She's unsettling, she is wonderfully creepy, and i also hate the heels.

realism is a lie

Its an oddly divisive thing...from a female gamer friend's post on my wall, " I mostly want those heels".

Had a busy day of paintball, but shes printing now (right at 5 hours on the dot) so hopefully this will work and she'll be available soon.
