As the title says, penny for your thoughts on Ultrasonic Brush Cleaners.

I've tried Masters Brush Soap, W&N Brush Cleaner, Water and for the life of me I still can't get my brushes as clean as I'd like - I always seem to get an accumulation of paint building up around the base of the bristles or on the individual hairs themselves. Now, before I get the standard 'Make sure you clean your brushes out after every use' - I do, I never let my brushes dry with paint on. I regularly rinse them, and I always give them a good clean out after use. However, inevitably, I still seem to get to the point of no return.

So, I thought I'd give an Ultrasonic cleaner a go - but I know nothing of their effectiveness. Has anybody else tried them, or is there a better method I'm unaware of? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a cleaner, I haven't tried it, but would be worth trying. Not sure if just water would work, or would you need some chemical cleaner to get the job done.

I have some old brushes I can try it on and let you know,

The ultrasonic cleaner is really nice for stripping models as well as cleaning an airbrush so its a great tool to have either way, ive never used it on brushes but i cant see it doing any damage to them.
