Heya, quick question. Do dedicated transports taken for a squad get any special rules that unit would get? For example a detachment that gets objective secured giving it to a chaos dreadclaw, or iron hands IWND going to a forgeworld vehicle that can be taken dedicated for a squad. Would any and all rules that don't specifically state non-vehicle work for dedicated transports?

If the rule is specific to named units then no, because a dedicated transport is its own separate unit. If the rule applies to all units in the formation or detachment then dedicated transports would also receive the benefit.
