I have no idea who I'll be paired up with nor what I'll be facing so I wrote a kind of TAC list. Onager hunts tanks, Dragoon harasses, Infiltrators are for CC, Rangers sit on an objective and snipe, Vanguard hunt mechanised infantry. I'm considering dropping the Digital Weapons for Refractor Fields on the Princeps and other Vanguard Alpha but otherwise I think this is a solid list. Thoughts?

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

So the arquebus is cheaper, but the caliver is so much better. Sniper just isn't that great, especially compared to 3-shot plasma!

And why are you taking Rangers at all? The Vanguard gun is a lot better, especially if you're good at rolling 6s
Rad guns can actually hurt a Wraithknight, whereas the Ranger things can't. (And yes, even at 750 you might see a WK.)

I'd also put your Warlord in the 10-man unit, for more ablative wounds.
Although the 10 man will draw more fire, and sitting a 5 man in the backfield to babysit makes more sense than sitting the 10 man out...hmmmmm.

I would not recommend trying to go capture objectives with your Arquebii squad, unless it is near your deployment zone. Move them to an elevated position if you can and snipe those light transports or MCs to death ! Plasma is nice but it's not 60". I'd also place my Warlord in a 10 man squad because you'll be really sad when he will die after one squad shoots at him or if a Vindicator looks at them. For the Arc Rifles squad keep them hidden in cover when you can so as to provide them additional protection !

If you can afford it somehow I'd buy your Sicarians the Omniscient Mask, it gives Zealot to allow them to reroll 1st round failed to hit in CC, and most of all gives them Fearless. Remember they already have a 6++ and 6+ cover save, so I'd keep them in cover too if you can do that as you move towards your enemy.

Nothing to say about the Dragoon and the Dunecrawler, solid choices ! Dragoon is good to lock a problematic shooty unit in CC, and with the potentially insane amount of hits they can do it's worth a try. Just time it well if you want to boost its WS, so as not to give a +3WS/-2BS to your other shooty units in the same turn.
