Starting off with the Dark Vengeance Chaplain, its not perfect and I need to tweak it a little. The eyes on the helmet need fixing up but i have had a go or rather an attempt at shading the cloak. Dont worry the bright white Dark Angles icon wont stay super bright as it'd look very weird!

Any tips or pointers will be graciously accepted hopefully some shading and highlighting advice would be really useful.

The freehand on the cloak is really good. The white is a bit transparent, but white is damn hard to paint.

Cheers! Although the white will get another coat today, im aiming to add some greys in the folds of the cloak on the white areas.
Hopefully it looks good.

Here's another update the cloak is at a stage where I'm happy to leave as is. I don't want to risk messing it up too much and the shading looks ace I think.

I have also sorted the helmet but again I need to tweak it a little more as I want the teeth of the skull mask to be a bit more stand out.

The base is looking ready as well but I'm thinking of adding some little patches of gravel and grass but might need to see if the grass would work
as it's a concrete and rubble looking base. I had a job dealing with the Skull as the teeth are tiny, I hope that the skulls look decent as I tried to get a rotting flesh look to them.

That's raised detail on the cloak.

Still, not bad for a returning player: everything is pretty neat and should look amazing when it's all done. Nice work!

Just a quick update for anyone interested, got the inside of the cloak sorted which is looking great needs a little more work on the trim though.

I have also started painting the gaiter parts between the joints on the sections as well. Got the smoke sorted to a decent degree I can work
it a bit more to see what I can achieve but so far it's looking ace and I'm happy for any feed back. Any how the pics are below to peep at!
