Yesterday i had my first actual game after a long peripd of painting and modelling only. Not to mention it was a blast
However some rules questions came up and i cant find the answer in arbitorians (awesome!) rules spreadsheet and i dont have my brb with me on work. So here i go, pointers to the right section in the brb suffice, if someone is willing to type out it's very much apprecoated.
1.: 1st turn his big mek sniped my farseer (warlord) with a S10 pie plate. I thought to have read of los for the warlord on 2+ but couldn't find it in the book. Pointers? (Took him off the table as i roled a 3 )
2.: Wraithlord wins in close combat, orkmob failed all ld shenanigans and got caught on the retreat. Was it legal for my MC to sweep them? Couldn't find anything contradicting on the spot either...
3.: Considering the wraithlords wrist mounted flamers, am i to place the template at the base or the muzzle on the model?

1 - No idea, sorry.
2 - I believe so, because that's how we're run it among my friends but we could be all wrong.
3 - The base, because otherwise you'd see people mounting their models right on the front with their arms fully extended to try and get more range.

Just came up with another one: can MC fire overwatch?
I know GC can't but didn't find anything on MCs.

-All independent characters LOS on a 2+, but they have to be joined in a unit.
-MC's can sweep
-The base

Just as another note, I may be wrong and I checked the rulebook, but depending on the situation, you can't "Snipe" with a blast template unless it is barrage. Blasts still take the closest models to the firing unit (still ignoring LoS because blast).

Yup, blasts and flamer weapons are just methods of seeing how many hits you get, it is still resolved like a normal attack, except for barrage. Barrage always comes from the center of the blast outwards.

Thank you guys. The s10 pieplate came from a bigmek (rolled 2d6 to determine strength), dunno if that one's barrage...
Anyways i would have passed the los so i clearly got bragging rights on a rematch thanks again!
