Hi,

I need to give two painboys some wheels so they can join a unit of bikerz and Stormboyz.

I thought about sticking them on a usual bike but thought a unicycle might be fun. I'm thinking some sort of wheel/tyre with a block on each side of the axle that the feet can sit on and enable two gunz to be bolted on sides.

Question is, can anyone recommended a wheel that would fit inbetween a painboys legs? I guess the cloth would need to be removed.

Thanks for the help.

Any ideas?

Take off their legs of course. Give each of these guys a mighty gyrostabilised mono-wheel leg replacement. They're pain-boy aren't they? That's right up their alley! They could probably do the surgery themselves.

I've considered it more than once. The main problem I see is adding the dakkaguns, but if someone has figured out how to mount weapons on a unicycle and make it look nice then I'll probably drop everything and start searching my bitz bin for a spare wheel.

Just mount the guns on the orks' arms like underslung assault cannons on terminator armour. They don't have handlebars to hold onto afterall. Then whatever goes on below the waist is just their wild wheel-mobiles.

Or mount them on the wheel's hub. Impractical? Yes. Orky? Very!

+1. GW actually had a bit especially for this about 20 yrs ago (just as a leg replacement, not to count-as a bike).

Mounting the guns shouldn't be hard - you'd pretty much use the rear half of an ork bike anyway, so would just retain the existing mount, perhaps pushed back a little so that the unicycle isn't too front-heavy. Allow for plenty of overhang front and back, both to allow space for engine and gun mounts etc, and also to roughly retain the bike dimensions (to avoid Line of Sight arguments in-game). Hmm, some sort of ram/spike on the front would also help retain the bike dimensions and look cool.

This. Gizmo Duck them.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

An official GW model (they've probably done more than one over the years, I think that one is from Gorkamorka) and a third party alternative.
Haven't really got any suggestion for the guns, just felt the need to link the pictures.
