I have two vet squads one i gave two frag cannons, two infernos, and 1 stalker pattern bolt gun. I was thinking about giving that squad another stalker pattern and give an inferno to the other vet squad, but i wanted some outside advice first,

You should think about what it is you want a particular squad to do, functionally. They should be performing a single role and if you want them to do something else also its better to just get another squad and kit them for that.

Generally speaking Ceann is right on the weapon loadout for a unit.

You may want to think "what each memeber of this squad is capable in doing with their assigned loadout". Usually, unless you can split fire (which is do-able with Kill-team formation adding Bikers into the squad) you want your one unit to be foucs on one type of Target, apart from that, you will also like the weapons on a single units to have similar range. Base on these, I think it is best to one DW unit builds around multiple Frag Cannons, (mix with Inferno Heavy Bolter or shotguns might be acceptable) and have them droppoded / DS into mid / short-range, while the other squad focus on carrying 5 Stalker Pattern Boltguns (putting a couple missile laucher in is "maybe ok", but sounds like spending more points) sit at back and shoot from afar.
