I've tried out some of the local stores but none of them have much people looking for games, wondering if there was anywhere i could get regular games?

I don't play 40k anymore and I live in Leavenworth, so no local stores near me, but I always used to just go to the GW store at Blue Ridge Crossing.

KC area tabletop gaming is very touch and go for some reason.

If you're up for a 2-hour drive, we have monthly tournaments at Magelings Games in Columbia, MO. Very friendly group, although we play some tough lists in the tournaments. Bit far from you for casual play though, I suppose.
