Hey all,

I'm new here and was wondering what you guys think. What is everyone's opinion on having a skull from a space marine, or other limb on the base of my Warboss as just to decorate it a little more? Is this a faux pas? Oh, this is on an orks model by the way. What do you guys think?

Nah mate, skulls and trophies look awesome, especially on orks.

So you'd do it?

As long as it looks like it is a part of the base, and not a random limb or head that's just been glued on it will look good.

Ok, second question on this topic. Is it frowned upon to have a base about an inch tall?

GW has skulls in blisterpacks and you have extra limbs from other kit.

With GW you can never have too many Skulls.

As to the outcropping, or built up base- Just make it look good.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.
