Hello All,
I am deep into building a War Convocation, and would like to run a Librarius Conclave to buff my army. Thinking of using Tigurius for his re rolls.

So far I see a few psychic powers that I feel would help a great deal:
-Prescience: Friendly unit can reroll all hits.
-Phase Form: Cast it on a friendly unit, that unit does not require line of sight, and ignores cover! They also gain Move Through Cover.
-Warpmetal armor: Cast it on a friendly unit to add +1 armor to ALL sides, or cast it on a non-vehicle unit to give it +1T.
-Invisibility: cast it on a friendly, and any enemies shooting at it or attacking in CC snap shot, or only hit it on a 6

Thinking if I put a few of these on a Knight Titan or some Onagers, they could be a powerful tactic.

First and foremost will be Invisibility no doubt, it is due to not only will it make a good unit ultimately terrifying (imagine you have an Invisibile Imperial Knight charged into enemy valuable unit or your Grav cannon Kataphron Destroyer that canonly be hit on a 6s), but also it comes from a discipline that contains other decent powers (i.e. Psychic Sherik, Terrify, and Shrouding).

I think Preciense may not be that vital Because there is one of your Cantical allows reroll to hit, with War Convocation, you are almost garanteed to have 8+ units right?

Warp metal armor is good, but fishing for it risk rolling on a discipline which is very situational that may not help you in specific game, sure that haywire beam and the power that stripe of D3 hull points is good when you fighting an army of Tanks, but if you rolled them when your opponent is not bringing vehicles, those powers are dead weight.

There are two forms of Ignore cover Psychic power for SM, in view that your major army is Admech, I agree on the choice of fishing phase form. Due to the fact that your army is comparatively slow, the discipline that phase form comes from also contains the infamous "shifting worldscape" you have a chance to get the power which boost your movement as well.

Some of the target specified recommendation are as follow:
Facing Eldar Seercouncil or Daemons? Roll on Librarius discipline, for Veil of Time, Psychic fortitude, Psychic scourge and Null Zone.
Facing high toughness unit with good armor saves (i.e. WK), try fishing misfortune combined with massed Radian Carbin
Facing hordes you may want powers from Pryomancy, the Fulmination witchfire can work, but not very reliable.

Thanks so much for the info!

I play two armies mostly:
-Tau with lots of crisis suits, stealth suits + ghostkeels, and Riptides.
-Blood angels with dreadnought drop pods, assault marines, sanguinary guard, Powerful psykers and storm ravens

"Benediction of Omniscience" Is the Canticle you are referring to in regards to Twin Linked Everything. I agree with you that Prescience may not be necessary.

For Warp Metal, I also agree with you, those other powers are not so impressive especially when I can already get SO much haywire!

I just used psykers for the FIRST TIME since 6th edition came out! As you mentioned getting stuck with a crappy power because you didn't get the one you wanted sucks! This happened to my with phase form. I got some other ones but not that one. I also only had 1 lvl 2 psyker. So With Tigurius and 2 other psykers I think Ill have a much better shot at pulling what ever I'd like.

One last question for you, what do you think about summoning Daemons? Any thoughts there? I like this mostly because I'd like to use the old metal servitor models as daemon proxies, for fluff! (And paint them that ghostly green color, so rather than summoning daemons the psykers are summoning dead Machine Spirits)

Thanks again!

It is do-able to summon Daemons provided you have the model. But since most summoning type powers WC3, you are still risking perils even you success on 2s due to needing 4 / 5 dices to ensure it goes off. Best bet may be summon a Tzeentch Herald in your first turn then let it help do some heavy lifting.

Besides, your Libby is catching the eyes of Inquisitions

Haha very true! Well here is my idea. My conclave will be represented by techmarine rather than actual librarian models. Instead of summoning daemons the tech marines will summon dead machine spiriits. So instead of daemon models I am planning on running a ton of old metal servitor models painted in that ghostly green color, similar to the Fantasy Spirit Hosts. So although ruleswise it doesn't help, it helps fluffwise!
