Hi all. Apologies if this is a dumb question. In the Chaos Daemon FAQ, released recently, it clearly states what happens if multiple instances of Warpflame toughness tests are passed (the bonuses stack). However, the question posed referred to enemy units. Does that mean RAW that if a friendly unit is affected by warpflame via scatterring blasts, warpstorm etc. and passes the toughness test more than once, the effects do not stack? Is this a case of misunderstood RAW?

Thanks, Samii.

The FAQ tells you it stacks. It doesn't redefine the rules to work differently for enemy's and friendlies, it's just worded for the most obvious situation.

I don“t think friendly units take the test do they?

Any unit that suffers an unsaved wound, so yeah friendly models can be effected by Warp Flame (if say Infernal Gateway scatters onto them). I would assume it's stack able on friendly units, though highly unlikely they'd get hit twice with a scatter.
