Subject: How can I paint Nurgle CSM like this?

I found this:
http://the-dark-templar.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/40k-dark-nurgle-vengeance.html
(part 2) http://the-dark-templar.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/nurgle-progess.html
I like the style quite a lot, and would like to emulate it.
He says he used Vallejo English Uniform, and then Devlan Mud and some Knarloc Green, and then a confusing semi-mess of paints.
Can anyone help me figure out how to do this clearly, and with as few paints as possible? I'd also like to avoid the white highlights.

"Show me where it says that in the codex!" said Learchus.
"You know brother that I cannot." said Uriel.

Death world forest + Athenian camoshade makes a very similar color. Highlight with nurgling green and apply generous amounts of nurgle's rot and you should get something fairly similar!

I agree with death world forest but I think seraphim sepia will get a better result. Death world actually dries pretty green! The Delhi will add some yellow tones in there. Maybe even some agrax to!

Somewhere on youtbe there is a guy who gives a method for painting plaguebearers. I use it and it looks somewhat similar to the CSM you want to paint. It is super easy:
White primer
Athonian Camoshade
Agrax Earthshade
Another coat of Athonian Camoshade
And that is it. No base. No layers. No drybrushing. Just shades. And since it is all shades, the highlights naturally come out.
I am a big fan of primer and shades with nothing else.

I'm going to look for the vid. Think you could try to find it for me though?

Aha! It appears somebody linked the video here on dakkadakka several years ago:
https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/527722.page
It has some extra stuff you also might find useful.
Also: It is from "the Warhammerlady." So, I was apparently wrong in assuming it was "a guy." My apologies.
