I am painting a Ad Mech/Skitarii army and I am trying to find a list of the paints I need. I like the ones on the back of the starter box with the reds. I see they have some listed is all that all I will need?

You can go online or to your FLGS and they have a skitarii basic paint bundle. It comes in those tiny pots and there's only 5 paints, but it's a good start and only $15.

The Skitarii painting guide Legions of the Omnissiah gives a lot of tutorials with all the paints you need. It's a good reference book.

Also How to Paint Skitarii on the Warhammer TV channel is a good guide. Just pause the video where it lists the colours used and choose what you want off that.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Something yet to be said:

It is 100% dependent on what level you're painting to. For a base tabletop standard with no highlights you're taking only a few paints, whereas for a washed and highlighted army you just double or tripled what you need.

I think the paints listed on the boxes are often only enough for tabletop gaming standard.

It's further complicated by boxes with the old names on too.
