Hey I feel this is worthy of it's own thread but if not just close it.

There's a guy on reddit who claims to have seen the Duardin models and he sounds fairly convincing + it ties in with other rumours

He Says

- Duardin Zeppelin, he's certain it's the one in the latest rumour engine - he says the tail fin is at the back of the picture - https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/03/01/rumour-engine-march-1st-2017/
- Duardin Gunner infantry with handheld Blunderbusses and Organ guns
- Duardin troops suspended by balloons (sounds bizzare). He says this rumour looks like the balloon infantry - https://www.warhammer-community.com/2016/11/16/the-rumour-engine/
- A Duardin character, apparently ranged.
- Duardin infantry apparently look like 'steam punk trench fighters'.
- No sign of any melee units.
- No sign of the rumoured steam golem.

Balloon infantry? Like the personal airships from A Darkling Plain? I must see this if it's true.

They could either be really really cool or ridiculous looking. Been waiting ages for this duardin release so fingers crossed.

Or both. Some of the best things GW produces are equal parts cool and ridiculous imho.

Urrgghh, really hope the balloon infantry don't look ridiculous. Bummed about no Golem possibly but looking forward to the new infantry and Zepp. Got my Azyr crusade force planned with units from most of the realms, except Chamon and these Duradin will fill that slot very nicely.

I was actually expecting Duardin with personal flying machines on them but was thinking the gyro-packs from Age of Reckoning. Oh well, balloons can be awesome too.

The balloon's rather safer as well, heli-pack engine gives out and you're dead. Balloon propulsion gives out and you just have to wait for assistance while floating. If these guys are supposed to be the ones who mine the mineral clouds(among other atmosphere high places) then that makes sense.

I'm liking the sound of how they appear to be a full airship crew. The story ideas of a traveling airship full of mercenaries and adventurers(possibly turned pirate) is really exciting to think about.

Sky-pirate style dwarves would be awesome yeah! I wonder if they will have their own sub-faction. Can't imagine them being Dispossessed but who knows.

There have been claims of Duardin for a very long time, why is this random reddit poster any better of a source? Better yet, why are we sitting around making up rumors over the images that are intentionally misleading, and every single time lead to a mistaken conclusion? People have already been convinced by those Warhammer Community photos of Duardin at least twice that I can easily remember, and been sorely mistaken.

I appreciate news and rumors, but only when they have some credibility to them. With a random source on reddit, this is roughly as credible as Sisters being imminent(which is purported every month or two perpetually).

Which ones have people been sorely mistaken over? The Duardin looking ones are the only ones that we have no idea about yet... Your free to believe what you want but I would bet a lot of money there will be Duardin at the end of this month or early April.

Upon further analysis you can see that the "construct" of the last image is actually a ship's stern. THe metal last part is the stern's post and, if you zoom, you can see some cords that would be the safety ropes.

Yes, Yes, YES!!!

I still am holding out hope for a golem or some type of dwarf mech but even without it, this sounds like a potentially awesome release.

Edit: I hope they make the gyro's good again with this release too, I am super bummed my awesome looking gyro's are basically over priced objective campers.
