Given the communications disruptions, there were likely tens if not hundreds of thousands of worlds that never even heard about it till it was all over - some of those would have died out or been thrown into anarchy when vital supply ships from the Imperial core never arrived, but there would have been plenty of self-sufficient ones who would have been largely unaffected.

There are worlds still in the 41st being discovered that have been untouched by the imperium or xenos since the dark age of tech. Some few of them are likely paradises of technological marvel.
