Anyone have a clue what color matches Standard Grey close as possible? I've looked and not finding answers.

And yes I did find one chart, awhile ago but now I can't find it, it had something to do with GW paints to Vallejo air.

It helps! But doesn't have air paint and I don't exactly know nor feel brave enough to thin my paints down to that degree so they can go through an airbrush. .

There isn't one.

If you have some Mechanicus Standard Grey, thin it and use it. If you don't know how to thin paint and you have an airbrush, you should learn how because it's pretty much an essential skill. Add a couple drops of thinner to your paint cup and slowly add your chosen paint one drop at a time until you reach a consistency that sprays smoothly.

I agree, thinning paints properly is just a normal part of using an airbrush. It's a bit trial-and-error at first, so practise on some crap that you don't need until you've got the hang of it.

However, is there something special about mechanicus standard grey? There are dozens of greys in the Vallejo Model Air range. I find it hard to believe that none of them are suitable.

It's the new color scheme I am going with my army and already got about 7 tanks painted these colors and as well 20-ish guardsmen. xO

Mechanicus Standard Grey is in the Citadel Air range, why not just buy that?
