Being about to embark on a night of assembling two drop pods, and knowing what a pain they can be to get together, I was wondering what other kits people either absolutely hate assembling or which are just an overall PITA.

Ork Trukks don't seem to be designed right. It's hard to get the guys in their seats correctly.

For GW related games - the Sicaran, it's just incredibly fiddly trying to fit the main hull of the vehicle together

Minis in general - I'm going to second the Robotech minis. Whoever thought the best way to cast is just to cut every part right down the centerline should themselves be cut down the centerline. Every model is a mess of fiddly parts and gaps that are in the worst places.

I put together 1 destroid and then said I'd get to the rest later. It's been a couple years now IIRC.

The old metal Thunderfire Cannons were a bit of a pain. Put together 4 of the bastards, wouldn't wish that on anyone, lol.
