So I recently built a list for Tau so I can put together what models I want to get. There is a problem though. I HATE the basic XV8 Crisis Suit models. They look so boxy and stiff. Ugh...

If I got my hand on XV9 Crisis Suits to equip with XV8 Weapon systems and bits (maybe even some head swaps? Unsure) would anyone have a problem with it? I don't intend to use the FW rules at any point. They would just be a different better model to represent Crisis Suits.

Likewise, I was considering getting Commander Shas to use as a base for my commander based on this.

I wasn't going to use the ring on the back or anything. But I was intending to use the commander arms and other little bits like that one. Has anyone ever had any issues with this kind of thing?

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.
