So I will be playing some SM players soon that I know have a ton of flyers. Other than using air vs air I don't see a lot of anti air options in the Necron Codex at all. What do you cron players use? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Perhaps AD with Tau? I don't know the Tau codex at all so if its possible what would you recommend?

Unfortunately it's one of Necron's biggest weaknesses. Aside from your own flyers I think some of the Forgeworld Pylon's can do anti-air but those are not common.

The Imperium of Man: White Scars - 1200, Raven Guard - 110 pts, Imperium - 550 pts
Tomb World: Nameless Dynasty - 270 pts

Gauss Pylon, and the Sentry Pylon with Gauss Exterminator from Forgeworld are really our only options other than Tesla shots from flyers.

You can always take the Obelisk and hope the gravity wave helps too.

The obelisk is very bad anti-air. (If it's any useful, it's somewhere else)

The anti-air pylons from FW are very bad, because of skyfire. ( they can't hit ground targets)

Our own flyers are not that bad, but they also lack skyfire. (That's if you're playing using DftS rules, which is the official)

Thus, you're left with either allying anti-air, OR ignoring anti-air completely. Space Marine flyers lack anti-infantry good shooting, they only shoot vehicles well. Don't pack vehicles and let him shoot his las cannons on your warriors. Honestly, most necron lists and especially decurions should be really good at ignoring space marine flyers. Their shooting is subpar, their mobility limited and they also lack ground force (since you said he's spamming flyers). Just claim controll of the board, sit on objectives and kill as much as you can of his ground force. His flyers are most probably just going to fly arround aimlessly while they kill very few in return.

Yeah sounds like the best and easiest bet would be to just ignore it all together and focus on ground game
