Has anyone played with or against a Ycarne yet? How was it? Pros and cons? Worth the points or just take a WK?

I have never played a wraithknight. I have fought against my share, but never used one.
Never played against the Yncarne, but I absolutely adore it.
It's utility is incredible. Oh hey you wanna take this objective from me? Lol nope.
Oh hey you have a defensive deployment? Eat Ap2 nova in your face.
Oh hey, you have a non-fearless troop unit? Get swept cause I10.
The psychological effect is incredible.
And it wont die unless your opponent focusses every bit of fire onto the thing.
A yes in my book

I've played two games with it and in both it was absolutely killer. The ability to show up where one of your units was destroyed during your opponents turn & charge next turn is extremely powerful especially against close range shooting/assault armies. Makes her the quite a prolific counter-attacker.
The Ynarri warlord trait table has three traits that are very useful to it too - It Will Not Die, Instant Death on a 6 to wound, & best of all the 'choose you powers' one. The furious charge/hit & run one & the 14'' soulburst have situational uses too. Just hope you don't roll 5 twice for the redundant fearless bubble

What was the other army you played against Khaine?
Yeah I was thinking of turbo-boosting a jetbike or two close to the enemy support units and hope they kill them and have Ycarne popup right in front of them and charge during my turn. But for almost the same price you can get a WK. How easy/hard was it to hide the Ycarne from LOS? Why is she levitating a little bit >_< makes it harder to hide her haha

@Tautastic
I would suggest 4 single black guardian warwalkers in the strike formation. They are cheaper than a unit of bike, they can deep strike where you want them 9" away from the enemy, battle focus closer to the action, and are more likely to die (you don't want them killing 2/3 of your jetbikes)
As for the Yncarne, I really like him. He takes some finesse to play right, as you have to decide when to teleport him and how to keep him near your units as his fearless FNP powers are amazing. A wraithknight is probably stronger, is easier to use and his cannons are really nice with the strength from death ability.

I think it has potential to be good, but I totally misplayed it in the first game I used it. I think the finesse comment is definitely spot on.

Impressed with the Yncarne's utility generally, hard to play with but also really hard to play against. Anything you can't really plan against is great. The more units on the table the better too.

Problem with him is, he is still susceptible to mass grav. You can't just chuck him in front of gladius and expect him to survive.
At T6, a barkstar will chew him into pieces.
Honestly I rather just have a WK for a little more points who can provide long distance shooting and can't be hurt by Fenrisan wolves.

If you play the Yncarne correctly it will never die, it also will never over kill anything.
The Yncarne will add large amounts of small value to your army over the coarse of the game, this is how you play it effectively. You want to be using its teleport to play it in key area's to hold down spots and support other units.
You dont teleport it into a spot small arms fire iwll kill it, you dont charge any unit with 20+ attacks or S5+ attacks that can chip it down and dont expect it to kill a full unit. You need to be using it as a unkillable teleporting supporting unit.
Compare to a WK, the WK will kill something easily, either in Melee or 2 D-cannons, with Ynnari you can get 4 D-shots off or even a turn 1 charge. If you like the "Instant gratification" better then play a WK. Yncarne is NOT "Instant gratification".
