If I have the visarch within 3 inches of a unit of enemy eldar jet bikes with a farseer and the farseer casts a psychic power and suffered a '1'result on the perils of the warp table, what leadership does he test on? The jet bikes 8 because of the sword of silence or his leadership of 10?

If the Farseer has joined the unit then it must use the Windriders one.

If the Farseer it's just on his own he's still able to use it's own.

I would imagine it's still the Farseer as it's him taking the Perils of the Warp and not the unit.

Yeah, I'd lean toward this as well. Perils requires the "Psyker" to take an LD test, not it's unit. So the Sword of Silence forces the Farseer to use it's lowest LD.....which is its own LD.

Enemy units within 3" of the Visarch use the lowest Leadership in the unit, rather than the highest.

Perils (and things like War Hymns) use the model's Leadership, so you would still use the model's Leadership.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
