Hello all!

I would like your feedback on the following list.
I try to make it competitive but of course realizing it will not stand up much against the most spammy eldar and demon-summoning cheese lists.
I aim for a fun and competent list using the newest models.

UM Librarius Conlave
Tigurius
Librarian ml 1
Librarian ml 1

UM CAD:

HQ
Celestine
Captain, AA, the new EW & IWND relic, SS

Troops
Tac squad, Drop Pod
Scout squad, Land Speeder Storm

Elites
Vanguard Veterans, powerfist, axes x2, SS x2

Fast Attack
Drop Pod
Drop Pod

Heavy Support
Centurion squad, grav-cannon x3, omniscope
Thunderfire Cannon
Thunderfire Cannon

Lord of War
Roboute Guilliman

The Conclave rides in the pod along with the tactical squad and the centurions in the FA Drop pod along with the CAD Captain for tanking.
Celestine joins the Vanguard vets and gives IWND first turn to Guilliman.
The main plan is to fish for electrodisplacement or magnetokinesis and set up Guilliman for a 1st/2nd turn charge.

Thoughts? Improvements? is it any good in the first place?

I haven't got my new stuff yet (still at work) but it's interesting Guilliman is a lord of war and not an HQ. Thus if you want to field him, you're doing at the very least a CAD of Ultramarines, and not an allied detachment.

On that note: if you don't put the centurions in a pod, or in a place where they have real serious cover, your opponent is going to make best efforts to obliterate them on turn 1 as they're the most threatening thing on the field that is realistically killable right off the bat.

I've found Celestine goes well with Vanguard Vets. So, kudos there, it works well for me. On that note, Celestine gives Guilliman IWND for the ENTIRE GAME. Not just 1 turn. All her other buffs are 1 turn only though.

You *might* consider dropping the conclave and putting Tigurius in your CAD, so you get better odds on your reserve rolls. But, without knowing what powers you're targeting and why, I can't stand by that advice. In looking at this list, I see Celestine and the Vans in reserve.

I would be concerned again about your turn 1 board presence against someone who has solid turn 1 damage. Guilliman is tough but not invincible. Do you have a plan on how to use him?

Perhaps my post was not much clear as written.
Two pods come down 1st turn. The cents go in one along with the captain (for tanking). The Conclave drops along with the tacticals in the second pod. The concept is to drop the conclave within charging distance of the enemies and within 24" of Guilliman. If i have electrodisplacement and it goes off, Guilliman can charge 1st turn.
Celestine and the VV will most likely start on the table and move forward hugging terrain for a 2nd turn charge

Nothing? No comments?

Is it that good or that bad?

He's a LoW for any Imperium army.

You don't need the Ultra CAD - you can straight up throw him into any Imperial army.

First - you can only take 1 relic per model. So that captain will need to be retooled.

I think you've got the right idea about how to use guilliman. The problem is - what do you do if you don't get electrostatic displacement? How are you going to keep a 5 man tactical with 3 librarians alive even if you do? How are you going to score objectives?

Check out the 1850 list I posted - it's a lot similar but I think it's more well rounded and will perform better.

If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.

The captain has one relic, it is a cloak that gives both EW and IWND if i remember correctly.

Checked your list, thanks for the feedback!
