Looking to bolster my War Convocation, and trying to decide how to model and kit my psykers!
Torn on the two lists below:

Bikes:
X3 lvl2 psykers, on bikes, with White Scars Chapter Tactics

Foot:
X1 Tigirius, all have Ultra Marines Chapter Tactics
X1 lvl1 psyker
X1 lvl2 psyker

Both lists are nearly identical in points.

I mean my biggest draw to bikes would be T5, zooming around the battlefield. Twin linked bolter if I need it, HoW with +1 strength, re rollable run-moves, skilled rider, and hit&run if I use White Scars chapter tactics.

BUT

with foot slogging I get Tigirius!

I honestly have used psykers ONCE EVER in 7th edition, so I am not sure if I am approaching this all correctly. As far as psychic powers go I'd love to summon daemons for cannon fodder, while making my knight and other units invisible, and getting them phase form to shoot through terrain!

Can Space Marine librarians use Malefic Daemonology??? I don't think they can. Might be wrong but your Daemon summoning idea might be flawed there.

I would go for the bikes thing, although there is no model for a librarian on a bike, so you need to get converting. Much more $ expensive than the on-foot version.

Bear in mind the formation doesn't need to stick together so if you get footslogging libs, they can go with other squads in their rhinos/razorbacks. They just might not be close enough to do their special formation bonus all the time.

Yes new FAQ states they can now. Very true about not having to clump them up. As far as "fluff" goes I am planning on using servitor models as daemons and tech marines as librarians. Since fluff wise it doesn't make sense for a loyal marine to summon daemons i figured I'd have tech marines summoning ning machine spirits! (Here is what I have so far)
