So just looking for an opinion, but would it be within the realm of possability that a particular Warband of Iron Warriors to sort of make their own Obliterators out of heavily armed suits of armor kind of like Iron Man/Warmachine?

Sounds perfectly plausible. Rule of Cool applies.

Stuck in the snow.

You could always have your Warpsmith decide to steal or make knock-off versions of the loyalist Space Marine Centurions.

Just replace their usual weapon options with those that the Obliterator has access to, slightly chaos-ify them, and it would look pretty great I imagine.

Good to know! I was actually planning on using Tartaros and Cataphractii Terminators for the planned conversions, though. But Centurions might be a great idea, too.

If you do this put up pictures. This would be a cool fun project.

In the 3rd ed. fluff Iron Warriors possessed marines used daemonic possession to power cybernetic enhancements, rather than becoming possessed themselves and becoming horribly mutated. So a daemonically powered suit of obliterator armour would probably be more fluffy for IW if anything!

Oh I like that idea.

You could also put them on the tank hulk from Battlefront sized tank minis. Nothing says loving like an obliterator riding A M4 Sherman chassis.

Centurions work great as Obliterators, at least if you load them up with tons of guns! Heres one of mine: https://imgur.com/a/VlB2H

The Centurions are a good shout because they are the loyalist counterpart to Oblits. However I do like the battle servitors as their tracked bodies are very Iron Warriors, and the Warmachine comment (Iron Man) got me picturing over the shoulder weaponry like they have.

You could do both, having Centurion torsos on a tracked bottom (basically a Centurion/Tank hybrid), with an Iron Warrior unwilling melded into the creation. You could mount two Flamers on the front in the style of a Leman Russ hull mount, representing the TL Flamers/Heavy Flamer option. Under the arms you could have the MM and Plasma Cannon/twin Meltaguns and twin plasma. Then an over the shoulder mount for the Lascannon.
