Hey everyone!
So as the title suggests i have my first ever kill team event coming up fairly soon and i have decided to play as necrons.
I want to build a list that will be competitive but not broken. so that i have a decent chance of winning some games, but not being so OP that my opponent doesnt stand a chance.

So here is what i was thinking:

3X canoptek wraiths 129
-whip coils

3X tomb blades 69
-shield vanes
-shadowloom
-nebuloscope

total points 198

i havnt decided on the specialist options yet either so if you could recommend some for me that would be great!
Also if you have any tips or tricks for a first time player that would be greatly appreciated!

Can't have both Shadowloom and Nebuloscope, its one or the other.

I would just field 9 Tomb Blades w/ Shield Vanes and Nebuloscope for 198pts and have 9 seperate units that can move fast, do good damage and do double shots if within rapid fire w/ ignore cover which will help out a lot. Also good for flanking your opponent.

Also because they are Jetbike they will have Hammer of Wrath so you could go CC with them if you wanted to. And they should survive a few rounds seeing as they are basically immortals that can move 12 inches and then a further 12 if they arent shooting (hence why they are great at flanking).

Overall i would say play something you will have fun playing with and have fun learning about because that will make the tournament more enjoyable for you.
