So Deathguard Havocs are absolutely ridiculously good, freely gaining +1 Ld, Fearless, Relentless, FnP (with "1" reroll) and a stealth cover save upgrade when shot from afar and since they have nice long range guns that means they take advantage of it more than anyone else, just staying in far back ruins and raining death from beyond the enemy's range.

The Deathguard Deamonprince is also probably the best of all the traitor legions with his 2+ jink save and free FnP remedying the princes major weakness which was his frailty.

The Bikers are also very nice also benefiting from a better Jink from afar and just being tough as all hell.

I wish I could fit some Obliterators as they also are very good as Deathguard but the Warpsmith taxe feels too heavy

I'd give Pandemic Staff instead of Plaguebringer to Daemon Prince

Melta or plasma terminators are actually not bad now, fearless obsec 2+/5++/5+++ reroll 1's deepstriking backfield seems pretty good

Oblits are good but you need to take a large unit to make the warpsmith worth it, and that means you can't afford the prince or heldrakes.

Really? I don't really see the Staff as being that good, sure the +2 str can help against vehicules but my list has enough anti vehicule weapons so its not that needed and I expect to need to Jink most turns which removes the option of shooting with the flamer attack the staff would give me.

the Poisoned attacks from the Plaguebringer means that I would re-roll my failed to wound rolls on all T5 or less models and the deamon weapon rule is the real awesomeness making him a brutal beatstick.

has the pandemic staff been doing well for you?

What about the back to standards Black Mace?

yeah the terminators are also an option that could save me a few points. maybe if im trying to squeeze in something else in the list, the Chosen in a Rhino will surely still be able to pull their worth though

for the Warpsmith+Oblits im considering a list with a Knight

I do like the Black mace but I figure the Plaguebringer is something of a poor mans black mace, saving me 10pts and still keeping him as nasty in CC in most cases.

considering the point sink that the deamon prince is, shaving off a bit of the points is worthwhile I feel.
