Backstory (feel free to skip to the task)
About a year or two ago I purchased that 3 knight set (never built) for the paladin/errant knight. As a counter to my friend's Knight Errant that had been terrorizing my armies. I didn't build my knights because largely thanks to you kind people at dakka I received some solid advice on how to counter the dreaded knight. Now I'm super adept at taking that thing out and my knights just sat in the shelf.

Fast forward to now. I started a daemonkin army purchased 2 maulerfiends and 2 D-thristers (engage evil laughter), with a look towards the future of things to play this year (my Eldar that have sat in the shelf since 6th edition even though I own 4 wraithknights), I decided to start up a Skitarii army, and then said 'might aswell just get the cult mechanicus stuff too and build a full on war convocation force so I don't end up with any unnecessary models, I already have 3 unbuilt knights somewhere that I can use) and upon a little research I find that the new hotness is the Knight Crusader so I had to get me one of those (currently sitting NIB at home) and what the best loadout for it would be. I decide the battlecannon/avenger gatling seems best so lets go with that!

So now the question remained...what do I do with the 3 other unbuilt knights? That's when it hit me....I could convert them into renegade knights! So the next question is what are the best wargear options and do I have enough bits to build those on my new recruits to my chaos armies. So this is where you guys come in, and why I gave all that backstory so that you know what I have "on-hand" and the intended use. I want some wargear equipping ideas and tactics of why those ideas would work.

The task
Out of the 4 knight kits I would like to build the imperial crusader knights with battlecannon/avenger gatling, and 2 regenage knights with avenger gatling x2, 1 renegade knghts with chainsword and thunderfist. Sadly I do not have 5 avenger gatlings included in these kits :( makes me a sad panda so what is the 'next best thing' I can't decide. I need your help.

What are the best possible configurations for 3 renegade knights using 3 sets of knight errand/paladin set and leftover from 1 Knight Crusader sprues that don't include a battlecannon/Avenger gatling (these will go on the crusader)

You bought two maulerfiends. Use the hades autocannons from them to convert the two double Gatling knights
