Does the Riptide Wing have to be FSE? BattleScribe is yelling at me saying they need to take the bonding knife ritual, which they wouldn't if they were just TE.

What does the codex say?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Doesn't say any restrictions, but I remembered certain Formations had to be FSE when the books came out. Riptide Wing isn't in the FSE book though which was also weird.

Yeah, Riptide Wing is in Mont'ka. I don't remember any requirement like that.

Battlescribe isn't a rules source. Go by what your codex says.
