A footnote at the bottom of the Tataros Terminator rules state that they may Replace any Instance of A normal OR Assault Terminator Squad in SM Formations

Does this mean i could Swap out my Dakka Terminators for more Assault Ones? (As Tataros Termies can take twin Lightning claws)

That’s my reading of it. Can do the same with CTDA armor as well.

As a note, while they can be subbed, IMHO they don’t become that squad. For example, the Strike Force Ultra gives command benefits to both “Terminator Squads” and “Assault Terminator Squads”, but not to “Tartaros” or “Capheracti” ones. So while you can sub them in, you loose out on some of the perks.
