Saw this list in another thread. I thought it was great as a less "cheesy" approach to a Tau list. Thoughts?

I like it; I don't think anyone is going to give you grief for a single Riptide. Do you own the models already or are you looking to acquire?

If it's the latter, I might suggest running the firewarriors in devilfish as Breachers. They're a really fun unit and when they get within that 5" zone can be devastating. You may also want to explore the Forgeworld variants of the Riptide. They're both fun, though the R'Varna is less cheesy if you're concerned about that.

I'd put SMS on the devilfish too.

I already have the models so breachers are a no go unfortunately, plus theyre more objective grabbers as opposed to "fish of fury". Fair call on SMS but the drones allow me to have more models on the table to harass.
