I wanted to create some pennants for some knights. I was thinking of printing them off on a colour printer, and then laminating them (so that they will keep and also so I can put permanent bends in them). I was wondering if there was a way to reduce the sheen on the laminate (aside from expending some testors dullcote)?

Good question - never tried spraying a laminate sheet.

Print it off and then stick the printout to some thick aluminium foil instead. That should bend and hold position better than laminate, and you could then just prime and paint the shiny back of it as normal.

Sure, I print out pennants all the time and just fold them over with a bit of white glue between, put some twists and curls and good to go. The glue when it dries holds just about any shape you want.

@Crispy78 - the tin foil is a good idea, too. I have printed on sticker/label stock and folded over, but found the glue and paper hold shape better. Maybe I will try the label stock with foil between next time!
