Hi people ! So I was wondering how to use the Gal Vorbak. Here are my questions :

1-Gear loadout : do I use them with or without additionnal gear ?

2-Independant character : should I bring one with them and which ?

3-Unit constitution : how many of them should I bring ?

4- Transport : Deep strike (deamon), Drop pod (LotSS) or Land Raider ?

What are your opinions ?

Most extra gear is a nice to have, but tooling up the dark martyr is a really good idea: artificer armour and a tainted weapon makes for a scary-ass foe in challenges (its essentially a budget paragin blade), or a power fist for general purpose rending awesome.

Regarding characters and transports, Gal Vorbak with Zardu in a Spartan is pretty scary - theu provide a good bodyguard for Zardu and he can buff their invulnerable saves.

I often use one of the blade slave models as the sergeant.

Zardu seems like the best way to run them, if anything just because having a giant red power rangers villain actually look like it belongs in a squad is a good thing

This. Cursed Earth is quite useful.

I recommend a Power Maul (or two, depending on squad size) and a Power Fist/Artificer Armor Sarge. That gives you some really brutal high strength Rending hits.

Transport depends on your RoW. If you go LotSS, you will likely not be running Zardu attached as they will likely be in Anvillus pods. In that set-up, I would use Zardu for summoning.

If you go for another, less restrictive RoW, a Spartan is, as mentioned, very solid. A Kharybdis could work too depending on list/theme. Or you can Deep Strike them, which would benefit from some Reserve manipulation and some Nuncio-Vox.
