A company called Burning Games has a Kickstarter to bring out a Core rule book for their Faith RPG, over 300 pages only 75 of which are rules.

I have their original boxed version and the Garden in Hell campaigns. it really is a brilliant system that encourages storytelling on the part of the players when performing actions.
The rules are so simple but offer a great diversity of options.
