Hey Dakka.

A few of my friends have shown interest in Age of Sigmar so I've decided to begin my venture into the game as well. I felt like She Who Thirsts was underrepresented for the forces of Chaos and have decided to make a Hosts of Slaanesh army. I wanted to start with a 1000 point force and expand from there as time goes on and was looking for some feedback on my list. I just have a personal stipulation I want to follow; only Slaaneshi themed units. So here it goes

Spoiler:
Leader/Behemoth:
Keeper of Secrets

Leader:
Herald of Slaanesh on a Seeker Chariot

Battleline:
Daemonettes of Slaanesh x 20
Daemonettes of Slaanesh x 20

Other:
Seekers of Slaanesh x 5

I know very little about this game beyond the basic rules, are there certain weaknesses or strengths playing this army/list will come with? Are there changes to the list that make add a bit more oomph? Comments and suggestions are welcomed!

You'll find your units are squishy. They can do decent damage since they rend 1. They are super fast, especially seekers. You will want to find a way to create mortal wounds. The herald on exalted chariot is my favorite for this. Charge a horde unit and watch half the unit die to the mortal wounds, then dish out 20ish attacks. I also combine slaves of darkness with my hosts of slaanesh. Chaos warriors and knights tend to be more durable and I use them to absorb charges and hold objectives.

Thanks! That's given me some stuff to think about. I played my friend who runs Sylvaneth and ousted him rightly (I think this was because he had too many heroes for a 1000 point game).

Are there some common problems I'll run into? What counters this kinds of list? What do you guys think should be added moving forward?

The Keeper of Secrets ability to bribe enemy heroes with the possibility of instantly killing them is one hell of a trick. Try to use it on heroes that don't have re-rolls.
Also, stick to arcane bolt. Use his command ability on daemonettes to increase their attacks to a ridiculously high number and you'll kill almost anything.
Use your seekers to pin down enemies in place while the daemonettes reach them.

Slaanesh daemons will have a hard time with heavy armor. I had a unit of 20 daemonettes lose to 5 saurus guard with a priest nearby. They ignore our rend and have a rerollable 3+ armor (2+ once shield was cast). I also have a hard time assaulting a bunched up formation. Stormcast love to have their units in tight phalanx formations. Being fast and lightly armored, slaanesh likes to take advantage of poor placement. Fighting their army that's in tight formation usually means trading units. You kill on of theirs but in return lose yours. Not ideal. That's why I've been using Slaves of Darkness to act as an anvil and the daemons swoop in for clean up.
