I want to start painting a blood angels army but I'm not a huge fan of red. I was thinking about painting them black with red accents. Death company either in red or bone. What do you guys think? Have any of you seen this done? Thanks all.

It's a fairly common alternate scheme for DIY Blood Angels. I'm not a fan because most don't bother to paint the black well. It's your army so they can be any color you like, or are just comfortable painting.

I painted my BA Successors red and hated the whole process, although I like the finished results. So I can understand why you would want to avoid it.
