Hi, in a situation where a wraithknight kills in a close combat an imperial knight can i move my model before the explosion thanks to soulburst?

Well, soulburst says it happens 'immediately' so there's an argument to be made it supersedes the explosion.

That said, it seems like the soulburst action and the explosion are happening simultaneously. My gut says we should consult the rule for Sequencing. When there are simultaneous actions, the player whose turn it is chooses the order they occur. So that's my opinion on the correct answer.

You cannot Soul burst when in base contact with an enemy model. Is the model removed before or after resolving the explosion?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

The explosion is "immediately after a Superheavy vehicle loses its last Hull Point" So, that would still be a sequencing situation.

The vehicle is removed "and" the apocalyptic blast marker is centered over where the vehicle was. With the "and" it looks like you're already into resolving the explosion when the vehicle is removed. That suggests the sequencing choice is whether the soulburst triggers before or after getting into resolving the explosion - if a person choosed before the explosion, the model is still there and the wraithknight wouldn't soulburst (which would be the choice of the opponent), or suck up the explosion first then soulburst if still alive (which would be the choice of the wraithknight's player).

Go easy on the guy would you? You just killed his IK with cheese AF rules. You just stuck a 50 foot sword through a fussion reactor - I don't think you are going to escape that.

If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.

Nah the idea of a WN pulling out the sword with the foot from the corpse of the IK just before escaping the explosion thanks to an elegant pirouette is the most eldarish thing ever.
