So after playing for a few months now and trying a number of different units each time I think I've narrowed down a somewhat serious, somewhat regular list but it's still not complete.
So far I'm looking at...
Chaos Sorcerer Lord (120 pts)
Bloodsecrator (120 pts)
Chaos Warriors w/one hander & runeshield 2 x 10 (360 pts)
Bloodreavers 2 x 10 (120 pts)
Flesh Hounds 2 x 5 (200 pts)
Chaos Marauder Horsemen w/ spears 2x5 (200 pts)
Tzaangor Skyfires 2 x 3 (320 pts)
Warp Fire Lightning Cannon 1 x 1 (180 pts)
Warplock Jezzales 1 x 3 (140 pts)
That puts me at 1760 pts. Maybe put 240 in reserve for some hounds or bloodletters? Was thinking maybe a couple more heros to bolster the lines of warriors. The reavers will be staying in the back around the cannon, jezzales, and caster cluster to prevent and intercept the guaranteed deep strike to try and deal with the cannons. I have been running Be'Lakor a lot instead of the Sorcerer as Be'Lakor is also a wizard plus good melee and ignores rend, but I've been finding myself leaving him in the back and thus not fully utilizing his 240 points. I like the model and his "manipulation" ability has thrown a wrench in the enemies plans a few times now and his attacks definitely thin out ranks when he needs to but he's also a bullet magnet. I'd utilize the points in another way if it helped overall.
Any ideas for the last 240 pts? List look pretty solid other then that? ideas for a corresponding "leadership" cell for that lineup? With no "leadership" the troops/ranged/fast movers are running 1640 pts. So 360pts left at that point.
Thanks in advance for any input.
