Am I the only one that is not a huge fan of the Skitarii Vanguard heads? I don't know what it is about them, but I just don't care for them. What I am thinking of doing is modeling my squad of Vanguard with the Ranger heads. The only problem I see is that I have two squads of Rangers as well. I am afraid that they will look too similar. But, the different equipment should provide differentiation, right? My Vanguards are going to be stock with Radium Carbines on everyone, whereas the Rangers will have one squad with Transuranic Arquebuses and the other will have Arc Rifles.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Putting Ranger heads on them does give the added bonus of being able to use Radium Carbine Rangers in Shadow War: Armageddon. So there is that too.

Thr rangers and vanguard guns vary alot. There not gonna be confused.

I see no problem using there heads.

If it came to ir. Say vanguard have a red ring on base and the rangers have a blue one. Easy ernough to make identifying super easy.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I could always make a V design on the heads of the Vanguards.

No real need . Vanguard rifles are quite distinct over randium carbines.

You could always paint the vanguard with cammo gear as snipers.
Vanguard regular red.

My color scheme is already Dark Angels Green for all of the cloth, so I am way ahead of you on that.

Now that the rules for the Shadow War: Armageddon kill teams are out, I am definitely giving my Vanguards hoods. That way they can function as Radium Carbine Rangers in Kill Team. And just when the Vanguard heads were growing on me. I wonder if they will fit on Sicarian bodies.

Yes, but I tend not to deviate too much from the base model.
