Just seen that GW have a new knife, and have released tweezers (seriously?!) and a saw. The new knife is an X-ACTO with an eye-watering markup (and they don't even pretend that it isn't - the image on GW's website clearly shows 'X-ACTO' written down the sides of the blades). Releasing official tweezers just seems excessive. But the saw I am interested in as I've not seen many of this style before and think it could be quite useful for getting into tight corners:

At the bottom of the knife and saw pages it states "is compatible with the most common hobby knife / hobby saw blades". That's easy for the knife - it will fit X-ACTO blades and they are easy to find. But for the life of me I can't find anywhere to get a range of 'hobby saw' blades - Excel do 2 saw blade shapes (both thin and pointy), X-ACTO only do one (which is very thin and pointy). Does anyone know of any other blade companies that made hobby saws?

p.s. I'm in the UK

Try looking for photo etched saws, specifically the Hasegawa Tritool. Tamiya also makes a similar product which can be folded to allow it to fit in a standard hobby saw handle.

There's the Trumpeter razor saw set, which is considerably cheaper than the Citadel set, but with fewer blades.

Rapid RC sell a mini razor saw set and they also sell spare blades.

The saws are just X-Acto saw blades.

Now they look a good shout, thank you! I'll have to buy some and see whether they fit.

Really? Which ones? Most X-Acto saw seem to be the ones with a ridge along the back (which aren't ideal as I would want the entire blade to be able to pass through the plastic), and the only two saw blades they do of a similar style are a different shape. I also can't find that they do anything similar to the largest option (the one with the rounded head that is in the handle in the photo).
